Why Kaliyuga is Sin (Paavam / Dosham):
• People are easily distracted by desires, anger, jealousy, and greed.
• Dharma (righteousness) is weak, so lying, cheating, and violence are more common.
• Spiritual strength is less compared to Satya, Treta, and Dwapara yugas.
• Human life is shorter, and people forget their true purpose quickly.
Why Kaliyuga is Boon (Varam):
• Though sins are high, the path to salvation is made very simple.
• In previous yugas, people had to do severe tapas, yagnas, and long meditations to reach God.
• But in Kaliyuga, just chanting the Lord’s name (Nāma Smaranam, Bhajan, Sloka chanting, Bhagavad Gita reading) is enough to attain Moksha.
• Example: “Hare Rama hare Rama, Rama Rama hare hare, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna hare hare” – chanting God’s name alone can liberate in this yuga.
• Even a small act of devotion (lighting a lamp, offering a flower, saying “Govinda!”) gives huge punya.
