The Difference Is Not Just Cost… It’s Knowledge, Technology & Government Ecosystem.

After working closely with exporters, one thing becomes very clear:

China does not win global exports only because of cheap manufacturing.
China wins because its MSMEs are trained, technologically empowered, financially supported, and globally connected from Day 1.

Meanwhile, many Indian MSME exporters are still struggling with:
❌ Basic export documentation knowledge
❌ Country-specific compliance awareness
❌ Market research access
❌ Technology adoption
❌ Affordable export finance
❌ Global branding & buyer communication

And this is the real gap.

In China, MSME exporters are taught:
✔️ International market intelligence
✔️ Product adaptation for different countries
✔️ Packaging standards
✔️ Automation & manufacturing efficiency
✔️ AI & digital export systems
✔️ Supply chain integration
✔️ Fast export financing systems
✔️ Government-backed export strategy
Chinese exporters operate like global businesses.

But in India, many MSMEs still learn exports through:
➡️ Trial & error
➡️ CHA dependency
➡️ Freight forwarder guidance
➡️ YouTube knowledge
➡️ Manual processes

This is not because Indian entrepreneurs lack talent.
In fact, Indian MSMEs are among the most hardworking and innovative in the world.
The problem is ecosystem maturity.

China built:
🏭 Export-focused industrial clusters
🚢 World-class logistics
💻 Manufacturing technology adoption
🏦 Low-cost export credit
🎯 Government-led export targeting
📚 Continuous exporter education

That is why even small Chinese factories understand:
• HS Codes
• International certifications
• Product compliance
• Buyer psychology
• Supply chain negotiation
• Export incentives
• Global pricing strategies

But ground-level awareness is still very low.

Many MSMEs still don’t know:
• Which export schemes apply to them
• How to enter new countries
• How to reduce compliance risks
• How to build long-term export brands

The next revolution in Indian exports will not come only from subsidies.

It will come from:
📚 Knowledge
🤖 Technology adoption
🌍 Market intelligence
📦 Compliance mastery
💡 Export education

India has talent.
India has manufacturing capability.
India has entrepreneurs.
Now India needs an export ecosystem where MSMEs are trained like global competitors — not left alone to “figure it out.”

The future exporter will not just be a manufacturer.

“Who carries the financial risk if this deal goes wrong?”

Most international trade deals don’t fail because of product quality. They fail because of the *

wrong payment structure*.

One bad payment term can:
* Lock up your cash flow
* Delay shipment clearance
* Create trust issues between buyer and supplier
* Expose one side to unnecessary financial risk
* Kill long-term business relationships before they even start

In global trade, understanding payment terms is not optional — it is part of risk management.

A lot of new exporters focus only on finding buyers.
Experienced traders focus on:
✔️ Risk allocation
✔️ Banking structure
✔️ Documentation compliance
✔️ Payment security
✔️ Trade sustainability

For example:

🔹 Advance Payment gives maximum protection to exporters but increases buyer hesitation.

🔹 Letter of Credit (L/C) creates stronger trust and international credibility, especially for high-value transactions.

🔹 Open Account improves buyer convenience but exposes exporters to major collection risks.

🔹 D/P and D/A sit somewhere in between and require careful evaluation of buyer credibility.

The smartest exporters and trade intermediaries know when to use each structure depending on:
* Transaction size
* Country risk
* Buyer relationship
* Commodity type
* Delivery timeline
* Banking strength

Before entering any export transaction, ask yourself:

“Who carries the financial risk if this deal goes wrong?”

That single question can save millions in international trade.

Which payment term do you believe creates the best balance between trust and security in international trade?

The global demand for Indian spices remains unbreakable, with 2024–25 data showcasing a diverse footprint across major economies. While China and the USA lead the intake, significant growth in the UAE and Southeast Asia highlights emerging opportunities for bulk exporters. Navigating these high-demand zones requires strategic market selection and verified buyer connections to ensure consistent trade volume and secure margins.

Think bigger, plan better, and export smarter.

India’s export business is again showing strong potential.

According to the latest trade updates, India’s total exports in FY 2025–26 reached around US$ 860+ billion, showing positive growth even when global markets are facing challenges. Merchandise exports and service exports both continue to support India’s global trade position.

At the same time, India is also working on strengthening export support schemes like RoDTEP, which helps exporters by refunding certain duties and taxes. This is important because exporters are facing challenges like high freight cost, global uncertainty, and supply chain pressure.

India’s new and growing trade agreements are also opening doors for exporters. Recent FTA developments with countries like the UK, Oman, EFTA countries, and New Zealand can create new opportunities in sectors like textiles, engineering goods, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, marine products, leather, gems and jewellery, spices, tea, coffee, and agriculture products.

This is the right time for Indian exporters to study international demand, improve product quality, prepare proper documentation, build strong buyer relationships, and explore new markets.

Export business is not only about selling products.
It is about preparation, trust, consistency, and global vision.

Those who take action today will create opportunities tomorrow.

India is growing in global trade.
Now Indian businesses must think bigger, plan better, and export smarter.

UAE is our Gold mine.

Four years ago, when the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) came into force, it created a transformational opportunity for Indian farmers, MSMEs, and other businesses.

Bilateral merchandise trade has grown strongly, crossing $100 Bn, with services trade also rising steadily and opening new markets and greater value.

Expansion across key sectors like gems and jewellery, engineering goods, electronics, and agriculture is delivering tangible gains, and FDI inflows from the UAE and India's overseas investments further reflect our deepening economic linkages.

And just like that someone slowly disappears from your daily life without a goodbye.

A colleague who used to call every day now says, “Sorry… got busy.”

Someone who promised “We’ll stay connected” fades away without explanation.
That’s ghosting.

Modern silence with emotional damage.

Build trust like Sukra Properties

Most new exporters keep chasing one thing:
👉 “New buyers”

But from my experience in product exports, the real game is different.

👉 Repeat orders matter far more than new deals

Getting your first order is not that difficult.
Maintaining that relationship is where real business begins.

When a buyer works with you once, he understands your quality, your handling, and your commitment.
From the 2nd or 3rd shipment, things change —

1) Discussions become smoother
2) Decisions are faster
3) Buyers don’t go too deep into costing every time

Because trust has already been built.

In this industry, markets don’t stay stable.
Prices go up and down, demand shifts quickly.

New buyers usually disappear when the market turns

But I’ve seen this many times —
existing buyers still place orders even in tough conditions.

Not just for the product…
👉 but to maintain a long-term relationship

Serious importers don’t think shipment-to-shipment.
They plan their sourcing in advance and include you as a reliable supplier in their cycle.

They grow with you over time — and vice versa.

That’s where you become part of their system, not just a one-time supplier.

The biggest mistake I see new exporters making is:
Constantly chasing new deals
And ignoring maintaining the relation with the buyers who already trusted them once

That’s how good relationships get lost in search of new.

In exports, this is not just a trading business.
👉 It’s a long-term relationship game

From my experience: Even 2 or 3 Consistent buyers are more valuable than multiple new enquiries

If you want to grow in exports, don’t just focus on closing deals.
👉 Focus on building relationships that repeat automatically

That’s where real scale comes from 👍

Exporters blocking lakhs in GST… for no reason.

🚫 Exporters blocking lakhs in GST… for no reason.

Most businesses don’t realize this:
👉 You don’t always have to pay 5%, 12% or 18% GST when supplying goods for export.

There’s a smarter route.
💡 If you are supplying to a merchant exporter (third-party exporter), you can use:
✔️ 0.05% GST (Intra-State)
✔️ 0.1% GST (Inter-State)
Yes—almost ZERO.

📦 How it works:
You (Supplier) → Merchant Exporter → Foreign Buyer
Instead of paying full GST and waiting months for refunds,
you supply at a concessional rate and keep your cash flow intact.

⚠️ But this is where most businesses make mistakes:
🔹 Export must happen within 90 days
🔹 Invoice & shipping bill must match perfectly
🔹 Goods must move to port / registered premises
🔹 Export proof is mandatory
Miss these—and you lose the benefit.

💸 Real impact:
I’ve seen companies block ₹20–₹50 lakhs in GST
simply because they didn’t use this structure.

🚫 Also, let’s clear confusion:
This is NOT zero-rated supply
This is NOT a loophole

👉 It’s a legal concessional GST mechanism designed to promote exports.

📌 Smart exporters don’t just focus on sales.
They optimize structure, compliance, and cash flow.
💬 Are you still paying full GST on export supplies—or using the 0.1% route?

Use EPCG Scheme and Improve your Global Trade.

The Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme is an Indian government initiative designed to facilitate the import of capital goods at zero or concessional customs duty to enhance the manufacturing competitiveness of Indian exporters. By reducing the initial cost of acquiring technology, the scheme encourages businesses to upgrade their production capabilities for the global market.

Core Objective
The primary goal of the scheme is to enable exporters to source machinery, equipment, and technology—for pre-production, production, and post-production—without the immediate financial burden of customs duties. This allows manufacturers and service providers to produce higher-quality goods and services more efficiently.

Participation and Scope
The scheme is available to various types of exporters, including manufacturer exporters, merchant exporters tied to supporting manufacturers, and service providers. Eligible capital goods covered under the scheme include:

Machinery and equipment

Computer systems and software

Spares, moulds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and tools

Catalysts for initial and one subsequent charge

Export Obligation
To balance the duty exemption, the exporter must fulfill an "export obligation". This requires the beneficiary to export finished goods worth six times the actual amount of customs duty saved within a period of six years from the date the authorization is issued. Failure to meet these targets can lead to penalties and the requirement to pay the saved duties with interest.
