As per the latest DGFT notification (No. 36/2026-27 dated 15-Sep-2026), export consignments up to ₹3 lakh (FOB value) are now exempt from RCMC / Certificate of Registration under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023.

✅ No RCMC needed for shipments ≤ ₹3,00,000
✅ Ideal for MSMEs, artisans, first-time & small-value exporters
✅ Applies wherever RCMC was earlier mandatory

⚠️ For consignments above ₹3 lakh, existing RCMC rules continue to apply.

This is a major ease-of-doing-business step to boost small exports via postal, courier & emerging channels.
