What Happens When Your Brand Walks Into a Room?”

Imagine your brand as a person entering a crowded room — hundreds of voices, flashing lights, everyone trying to be noticed. Some shout. Some whisper.
But only a few… command attention without saying a word.

That’s the power of digital branding — it’s not about louder ads, it’s about presence. Every scroll is a stage. Every post, a whisper. Every logo, a silent storyteller.

Your brand is already out there—speaking, reacting, leaving impressions. But is it being remembered… or just seen and forgotten?

When your digital identity speaks before you do—that’s when branding stops being marketing and starts being magical.

That’s the heart of digital branding—shaping how the world sees you before they even meet you.
At eCrystal Digital Technology, we don’t just promote brands—we craft digital identities that speak, engage, and stay remembered.

From branding and social media promotion to website development and e-commerce solutions, we make your digital presence unforgettable.

What are annoying things applicants do at a job fair that disinterest job recruiters?

Eric from quora
Oh man there are a few candidates who have stood out to me. One in particular talked for almost 10 minutes and I tried politely cutting him off a few times (as I had gotten the point about his skills) before I finally had to be a little less polite. He knew as well as he said "I know there are people behind me but I just want to tell you one more thing!"

The thing about career fairs is that it's tiring, and for candidates it can be frustrating to wait in line and then only get a few minutes with the recruiters, but most of the annoying things that candidates do is to not make their intentions clear. Before you go, are you applying for a specific position, or do you have legitimate questions about the company.

Here's my annoying career fair stories mixed in with general career fair advice, having attended them, planned them and worked at career fairs in various situations:

1) The Person Who Doesn't Know Where They're Going, 2)The Person Who Doesn't Want to Wait in Line and 3) The Person Who is Angry When They Didn't Get to The Company They Want

Yes, there will be lines. Did you think that you were the only person who showed up to visit the Amazon table? Honestly?

So before you attend a career fair, make a list of who you want to see first. Anticipate that there will be lines and that even if you arrive early you may have to wait, and so the first companies you should wait for should be your first priority.

4) The Person Who Hasn't Done Their Basic Research

You ever wait behind someone to order food at a fast food place and then when they get to the front, they say "So what's on the menu?" You get annoyed with them right? And there's not even something as stressful as waiting for help getting a job, you're just hungry.

It is incredibly annoying when someone sits down and asks 'so what does your company do?' because if they don't want to work there, they're just making the sad person behind you wait in line for longer for no good reason. (And often you're making that person angry and annoyed so that by the time she sits down, she's not nervous but pissed.)

Visit each of the companies website before you attend the career fair. Poke around their employment/career section. Other people are doing this, and if you don't, you sometimes are putting yourself at a competitive disadvantage. Pro-tip: you can look up the website while you are in line waiting for a company.

Make a list of questions that you have for companies, and write them down, that way you don't waste valuable time if you sit down in front of a recruiter and/or hiring manager and your mind goes blank. Cause it happens, you get nervous, but you *know* that you're going to be nervous, so plan ahead.

5) The Person Who Thinks That They Can Convince a Company to Hire Them, Even if There is No Opening.

There is nothing worse than interviewing a person who wants to be a 'conceptual font artist' or another role that is currently not vacant. It doesn't matter what you say or how amazing you are at conceiving imaginary typography, if I don't have the budget for that role (or the team, space, chair, computer, etc) we can't hire one. If you are the type of person who wants to 'create your own role', you don't do it at a career fair.

6) The Person Who Takes Too Much Time to Get to the Point

Have you ever listened to someone talk about their product development skills for five minutes and then say "but I don't want to work in product development anymore"? Can you imagine doing that with 100 people waiting behind them, knowing that you have to meet with all of those 100 people?

Practice your elevator pitch. Practice it on your phone if watching it helps you. Practice it with your friends and mentors. Practice it with your career services office if you're still in school or a recent alumni. You only get so much time to make a first impression.

7) The Person Who Believes that Dressing Up Goes Against Their Moral Code often confused with 8) The Person Who is at the Fair but Doesn't Really Need/Want a Job

Dress up (unless it's a career fair entirely made of startups who wouldn't want you to wear a suit-and even then you should be dressed like you give a damn.) The idea is that this is a big deal to you, not that you just casually stopped by the career fair on your way to anywhere else.

There are a surprising number of people who go to fairs to 'just support a friend' and 'sit down with a recruiter out of curiosity' and unless they have some skill that is incredibly rare, they often don't get called back because they've self-selected themselves as 'not looking.' And if you accidentally get put in that category because you didn't dress up, you'll be annoyed when you don't hear back because of it.

9) The Person who Makes you Take Notes in Chicken Scratch on a Napkin

Print more resumes than you anticipate handing out. If you have business cards, you can either paperclip them to the top or hand them to a recruiter, but sometimes that's redundant. If you show up and you don't have a resume, you can still make the connection, but you do end up looking unprepared, or not detail oriented.

10) The Person Who Anticipates that Every Computer is Working Quickly when 1000+ People are Sharing the Wifi

It's really annoying when someone sits down and then asks you to google them or to see their LinkedIn profile (when you may not have signed into LinkedIn this takes up more time than you anticipated and often forces you to make small talk that you don't want to do while others are waiting.)

11) The Person with the Super-Size Portfolio

If you have a portfolio, make sure that it's in a form that you can show me without taking up too much table space. If your portfolio is on a tablet/laptop, make sure that it's easy to get to your files and that if the hiring manager or recruiter presses a button we aren't going to waste minutes while you key it back up (or worse, show us a bunch of random files, and/or a scattered desktop with folders labeled 'pron' or something else that is not appropriate.) I once remember that someone was showing me their portfolio and then I tried to page forward, which accidentally closed the program and they were also rendering an image in Photoshop and we had to wait five minutes while he restarted.

12) The Person who Wants the Career Fair to Get them a Job Yesterday

Make sure that your expectations line up with how a career fair works. Nobody is offered a job at a career fair, it's a mini-interview, but not a full interview. (Full disclosure: I have been at internship fairs where students have been offered an internship on the spot, but I have never been at a career fair where anyone has been offered a job, or even confirmed an interview date on the spot.) So if you show up and want to schedule an interview, expect your recruiter to be annoyed.

Again, none of these things are a career killer but they are annoying. I know talented people who have done these things and still gotten hired, but I know far more people who went to a career fair and did the equivalent of shooting themselves in the foot with a company because they annoyed them.

Vikamathithya and Betal PART II (Sorry for the long gap!!)

Click the L1 or L2 link for the PART I or scroll from the feeds
Now the wholesaler is worried that this new retailer-buyer is not going to come back again, instead spreading bad mouth on his mangoes. Also he realised that he lost not only Rs 500 as compensation but also lost sales on the first day for his regular retailer-buyers. Since all of his baskets were sold to the one retailer alone, three of his buyers were upset and he had to apologize to all to keep them in the business.
Now the retailer realized that over ripened mangoes made the place untidy and storage cost in the name of cleaning and uncomfortable is real waste.
Now the sellers union leader realised that these types of conflicts should not come back among these small business people. In the evening, he met in Tea shop and advised the retailer to go for smaller batches to buy and sell. Retailer replied “the small batch purchase is really expensive since more frequent orders require very huge transportation costs and impossible price reduction” something he overheard from a customer cum statistics professor.
Betaal asked Vikram ``Being a wise king, how do you break the conflict of smaller and bigger batches? Will you suggest the economic ordering quantity?”. “Thank god! In our era, this stupidious formula was not invented at all, '' Vikram replied. “Right idea is the validating of many assumptions they have.” Betaal was convinced by his answer and continued to tell the story…
Union leader has drawn an evaporating cloud stating the objective, need and want of change in the business model of the retailer. Both agreed that the objective of that small business is to increase the profit and so, both buying-price discounting and wastage reduction are the necessary conditions for that. For larger volume purchases only price discounts are possible, but for smaller batches lower wastages possible. Conflict has arrived.
The wholesaler entered the same Tea shop during the discussion and bothered them. The retailer hesitantly wished him and moaned “Shy! Conflict came!”. Union leader asked the wholesaler to sit nearby in the bench and ordered one more Tea for him.

Leader restarted discussion “Only smaller batches will reduce the wastage.- is a questionable statement. If you properly store large inventory, no overrippening may occur. Why don't you buy a refrigerator to store the fruits so that you may reduce the wastage?”
“Sir, I can not afford the investment first of all. Though I can buy it on loan, why should I pay installments and EB bills?”
“Yes. It may cost your profitability. Further return on investment is very important. Ok! Let us check other assumptions. Higher the quantity purchase is must for price discounts - This is also a questionable statement”
“No doubt about it. For each purchase, need to buy larger volume”
“Sorry to interrupt,” the wholesaler said. “Need to buy a larger volume per period. Not each purchase”
“Explain a little more,” the union leader asked.
“For example, if he (retailer) would have ordered me for four basket and receive each basket a day, then I would have ready to give him the same price discount”
The retailer replied “Ah! you want me to pay 4000 Rs and trust you to give me the baskets in four days. You will fly off!”
“I am not talking to you” the wholesaler turned away from him and said to the leader “Sir, If he pays just 2000 Rs for both today and tomorrow baskets, it is enough. Even if I cheat, 1000 Rs alone is a risky amount. But tell me sir. How long have I been in this market?”
“Don’t mind. I know you are trustworthy. Trust is first investment in a supplier relations”
“Sorry if I hurt you” the retailer said to him. “But frequent supply will not be more expensive to me due to four times of transportations?”
After a long look showing the dilemma of whether to forgive or not, the wholesaler said, “It is OK. Do you remember that day you came in a scooter which was enough to take one basket to your premise. But you paid 100 Rs for a three wheeler because of bulk purchase. But if you use your vehicle it is just a fuel cost. Do you know one thing? My Matador is passing through your premise many times in a day. If you are my regular buyer, I can deliver you the mangoes at any time free of cost”
“So Kind of you! I had the opinion that people are born bad.”
“My selfishness is always here. I don't want to lose a talented retail seller like you”

Betaal asked Vikram ``What is the missing point in the story?”. Vikram replied “The ordering quantity is not yet decided. I lean towards single piece flow of mangoes from supplier to retailer”. Betaal said “Your first statement is right. Why should you apply single piece flow in the supply chain?”. Vikarm said “Because inventory is an evil liability and not an asset”. Betaal laughed at him “Inventory is neither an asset nor a liability. It is a necessity to protect the need of the constraint which is the end customer sale”. Betaal flew away again to the moringa tree.
Incredible Vikram climbed onto the tree and pulled the Betaal with great struggle. He started walking along with it again. Betaal continued the story...

Union leader asked both “how do you decide the ordering quantity? A basket a day. I noticed that the retailer was able to sell the full basket per day. It means he can sell more too when he is able to give fresh mangoes”.
Retailer said “within a day if I receive the supply frequently it may affect my sales time so if I get the mangoes the previous night then I will be ready for sales in the morning without delay”.
“So if you focus on sales, you make more than a basket a day. Then can you order 1.5 or 2 baskets for each day?” The Union leader said. “If something is left over then carry over to the next day, then reduce the order quantity. I mean maintain the inventory level constant”
“Hello, I don't serve dinner! All went out. What are you debating here?” Tea shop owner shouted Jokingly. Further he came and listened to the discussion.
Without bothering him, the retailer talked to the leader “Without any policy you mean just to follow the inventory level and fill it. Of course I know multiple pricing methods for the same mangoes based on quality classification based on under ripen, fine and over ripen. Stil I don’t get a clue how to be responsive towards excess demand or anything else.”
Tea shop owner interrupted “Whenever you have pre booking orders or well advanced known demand on a particular day you may procure extra. Other days, I tell you my method of handling my candy purchase. I have colored my candy bottles like Red, Yellow and Green from the bottom to top in the backside. If the stock level remains in the yellow zone most of the time, then I follow your method as long as.”

“I see,” the retailer wondered. “If the stock level is in the red zone most of the time?”
“Then, I will change the bottle to a bigger one.”
“That also will have color coding? But it will also be in the red zone. Isn't it”
“Yes. You See. Frequent red zone means more demand. Isn't it. So you need more inventory. I mean a big bottle. Since I follow your idea of filling the bottle, then It may reach green or yellow levels soon. It won't end up in danger at stock level. I mean red. Out of stock is dangerous to me.”
“Got the point. Suppose your inventory level is in the Green zone most of the time, then you change the candy to a small bottle. Then it becomes overflowing and you tend to stop purchasing or little purchasing. You identify it as an immovable item. Interesting.”
“Mmmm!” the wholesaler sounds.
“What happened?” The retailer asked.
“This is a very simple and great idea for maintaining the inventory level at low and avoiding the stock out. Why didn't I follow my purchases from the farmers?” the wholesaler said. “If I have a long term contract both myself and the farmers will get steady price and flow of goods”
Betaal asked Vikram ``What are the learning from the story?”. Vikram replied “One, People are born good; Second, Win-win situation is always possible; There is an inherent harmony; Third, Dynamic buffer management solution for the supply chain practice is a powerful solution and lastly need to learn more on TOC concepts from the below books.

Opportunities in Rice Exports.

India has announced an ambitious plan to unlock ₹1.80 lakh crore worth of opportunities in new global rice export markets through the upcoming Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025, scheduled for October 30–31 in New Delhi.

Overview of the Initiative
The initiative, spearheaded by the Indian Rice Exporters Federation (IREF) and the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), seeks to expand India’s dominance in global rice trade, currently accounting for about 30–40% of world exports. At BIRC 2025, exporters are expected to sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth around ₹25,000 crore to facilitate entry into these new markets.

India produced approximately 150 million tonnes of rice in FY2024–25 from nearly 47 million hectares, with exports totaling 20.1 million metric tonnes valued at about USD 12.95 billion across 172 countries. The conference aims to further elevate India’s share of global rice exports to 55–60% in the coming years.

New Target Markets
India has identified 26 potential countries, currently importing rice from competitors like Pakistan and Thailand, as prime expansion targets. These include major markets such as:

Indonesia ($2,586 million)

Philippines ($2,470 million)

Iraq ($1,661 million)

Vietnam ($1,463 million)

USA ($1,194 million)

China ($890 million)

Malaysia, Côte d’Ivoire, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, the UK, Saudi Arabia, and others.

Additionally, newer African markets—such as Ghana, Gambia, and Liberia—have been highlighted as emerging destinations for both basmati and non-basmati GI rice varieties.

Strategic Significance
The “₹1.80 lakh crore” target represents the total import value of rice purchased annually by these identified nations from non-Indian suppliers. By capturing a share of these imports, India aims to reinforce its role as a key pillar of global food security while promoting high-value exports.

The conference will also feature an AI-based rice sorting technology launch, enhancing grain quality control and export competitiveness. The event’s deliberations will feed into a Vision & Roadmap document to guide India’s rice export policy for the next decade.

Overall, this initiative marks a pivotal step in India’s agricultural diplomacy, aiming to expand its export footprint, modernize post-harvest systems, and capture a major share of the global rice trade landscape.
